Murder on the Orient Express – Fri., Jan. 12 at 7:30 p.m., Sat., Jan. 13 at 2:00 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. at the Eagles Theatre
Fire Line Productions of Wabash features local talent in this production of Murder On the Orient Express. Just after midnight, a snowdrift stops the Orient Express in its tracks. The luxurious train is surprisingly full for the time of the year, but by the morning, it is one passenger fewer. Isolated and with a killer in their midst, the passengers rely on Detective Hercule Poirot to identify the murderer – in case the killer decides to strike again. All seats are $20.
Mr. Big – Wed., Feb. 14 at 7:00 p.m. at the Honeywell Center
Mr. Big, formed in 1988, is an American hard rock group consisting of Eric Martin (lead vocals), Paul Gilbert (guitar), Billy Sheehan (bass guitar), and Nick D’Virgilio (drums). Known for their hits like “Alive And Kicking,” “Just Take My Heart,” and the chart-topping ballad “To Be With You,” and more, their songs are often marked by strong vocals and harmonies. Manchester Symphony Orchestra – Sun., May 12 at 3:00 p.m. at the Honeywell Center
Manchester Symphony Orchestra celebrates Mother’s Day with Creatures Great and Small, featuring “Wood Notes” by African American composer William Grant Still; “And God Created Great Whales,” a symphonic poem with whale sounds by Alan Hovhaness; concertmaster Elizabeth Smith in “The Lark Ascending” by Ralph Vaughan Williams; and the finale, “Overture to Die Fledermaus” by Johann Strauss.
All seats are $20. Free admission for MSO members, youth under 18, and Manchester University staff and students.
