Friday

7 AM: Bike-to-Work Day Festivities
At 7 a.m. stop by The River Coffeehouse in the Village at Winona or in Downtown Warsaw for a free cup of coffee and snacks. Join millions around the globe showcasing the impact of active transportation infrastructure. Kick off this year’s FSTF by joining us on Bike to Work Day!
5 PM – 11 PM: Festival Kick-off Party
This free activity kick-starts the annual Fat & Skinny Tire Fest and is a highlight of the weekend for many! Riders of all ages “take over the road” for our Community Critical Mass Ride from the Village at Winona to downtown Warsaw. After the ride, the fun continues with a BMX stunt show, kids’ activities, food and beverage vendors, and live music.

7:30 PM: Zimmer Biomet Downtown Criterium

This 1/2 mile timed twilight road race, taking place around three blocks by the county courthouse, is sure to be an action-packed event for riders and spectators as part of the Festival Kick-off Party and Warsaw’s Third Friday activities. This year’s road racing is also part of the NEW Midwest Cup Road Series.
Saturday

Races
Saturday is the main race day! Starting at 8 AM with the Wildman Business Group Countryside Tour & Century, the day also includes the D.IN.O Series Mountain Bike Race, Zimmer Biomet Circuit Road Races, and 4X Mountain Bike & BMX Races. Registration information is linked with each event.
Additional Events
There is going to be a WCC BMX Stunt Show & LKH Kids Activities over the weekend. Don’t miss the Historical Winona Bike Tour, live music, and presentation of the Robbie Gast “Ride On” Volunteer of the Year Award. Click below to view the full schedule of events.
Sunday

Races
Sunday is the last day of Fat & Skinny Tire Fest. Starting at 8:30 AM with the Zimmer Biomet Village at Winona Criterium Races, the day also includes a Youth Mountain Bike Clinic, LKH Kids Races, followed by the Ortho Cup Corporate Challenge Cruiser Race. Additional Events
Info booths will be open, as well as a food court and expo area. There is an additional opportunity to participate in the LKH Kids Activities. Click below for the full race-day schedule.

Winona Lake
Make sure you visit the variety of locally-owned shops and restaurants in between races and events. If you are looking for waterfront dining options while visiting Winona Lake, the Boathouse Restaurant overlooks beautiful Winona Lake, offering modern American dishes. Warsaw
As you enjoy the Fat & Skinny festivities, take some time to explore Warsaw, the county seat, which is known for its vibrant downtown with a picturesque network of lakes and beautiful parks. Visitors can indulge in art galleries, cozy coffee shops, and amazing restaurants. Hoosier Proper in downtown Warsaw serves succulent steaks, fresh seafood, and gourmet charcuterie boards. Right around the corner from Hoosier Proper, you’ll find Falling Rabbit and Anthology Whiskey Room. Falling Rabbit is a cocktail lounge focused on marrying seasonal high-quality ingredients with spirits to create unforgettable cocktails. Anthology Whiskey Room, a speakeasy-style establishment, boasts one of the largest collections of whiskeys in the Midwest.

Downtown Warsaw & Winona Lake have both established DORA, or Designated Outdoor Refreshment Areas, which allow participants to enjoy alcoholic beverages in designated outdoor areas within an established boundary while exploring events, restaurants, and shops. To participate in this program, you must be 21 or older, and all alcoholic beverages must be in special DORA cups supplied by participating locations.
