Jacobs’ Family Orchard

Looking for a hot, fresh apple cinnamon donut? Jacobs’ Family Orchard has you covered! Pair it with a cold apple cider slushie, pumpkins, a hayride, a farm-themed play area, and a sunflower trail for the perfect fall day. Wagon rides for apple picking are available on weekends and daily during the first two weeks of October. The orchard is open for the season until early November.

L & K Farms

During the fall, L&K Farms offers both full-service and self-serve options during their Harvest Hours—making it easy to pick up pumpkins, mums, apples, veggies, and fall decor through October. They also host annual events like Pumpkin Day and the L&K Fall Festival, featuring food trucks and family-friendly vendors.

Whitetail Tree Farm

Whitetail Tree Farm offers classic fall fun through the end of October. Explore a 12-acre corn maze, pick pumpkins, and meet friendly farm animals. Enjoy treats like apple donuts, cider slushies, iced coffee, and popcorn. Kids will love the pumpkin jump pad, tire mountain, straw bale art, slingshot, barrel train, human hamster race, and ducky race. Admission is free for children under two.

Belgian Horse Winery

The Belgian Horse Winery is best known for summer concerts and food trucks, but the fun continues into fall! Outdoor concerts run through mid-October, set against stunning autumn sunsets. New in 2025: a corn maze! The winery is open year-round for wine tastings and food.

Summit Lake State Park

Summit Lake State Park is full of festive fall activities including a trunk-or-treat, the Spooktacular 5K Run/Walk, and the Ghoulish Gathering Scavenger Hunt. More event info can be found on their Facebook page.

New Castle-Henry County Public Library

The New Castle-Henry County Public Library offers creative, seasonal events for all ages. Find fall- and holiday-themed activities for children, teens, and adults.

Gribby’s Haunted Trail and Hayride

Gribby’s Haunted Trail is open every Saturday in October from 8 to 11 p.m. Admission is just $10 and includes a hayride and spooky walk through the haunted trail. Learn more on their Facebook page.

Henry County YMCA

The Henry County YMCA hosts a Trunk or Treat on Halloween and the annual Thanksgiving Turkey Trot 5K. Open to members and program participants, this festive 5K welcomes families, walkers, runners, strollers, and leashed dogs. It’s the perfect way to kick off Thanksgiving Day.
