Crowning Moments Await at Museum’s Expanded Pageant

[Wabash, IN, August 11, 2026] – Join us at the Wabash County Museum on Friday, September 4th at 6PM for the Little Miss & Mister Wabash County Pageant (ages 4-7) and the Wabash County Prince & Princess (ages 8-11), followed by the new Miss Wabash County Teen Pageant (ages 12-16) at 7PM.

This exciting event is brought to you through the collaboration of the Museum and the Wabash County Scholarship Pageant. A beloved tradition and the highlight of September’s First Friday celebration, the expanded pageant will be hosted by the 2026 Wabash County Festival Queen and Court

New this year, the Miss Wabash County Teen Pageant offers teens a chance to get involved in local pageantry, build confidence, gain interview experience, and get a head start on the path toward the Wabash County Scholarship Pageant. The Festival Queen program provides young women with opportunities to represent their community while competing for valuable scholarships, making this new Teen Pageant a great first step for those interested in getting involved.

After the pageant, the newly crowned royalty will enjoy special appearances throughout the year, including a ride alongside the 2026 Wabash County Festival Pageant Queen and her court in the Roann Covered Bridge Festival, and a featured appearance at the 2027 Wabash County Festival Pageant.
