The Noble County Convention and Visitors Bureau is thrilled to announce the recipients of the 2024 Visit Noble County Tourism Grants. Eight exceptional tourism and recreation partners have been awarded grants of $1,000 each to support their initiatives that enhance and promote tourism in Noble County.The 2024 grant awardees are: Community Learning Center – Concert Series: Awarded $1,000 The Community Learning Center will use the grant to support its vibrant Concert Series, bringing live music and cultural enrichment to Noble County residents and visitors. Cromwell Parks Department – Summer Fun @ Cromwell Park: Awarded $1,000 This grant will support the Summer Fun program at Cromwell Park, offering a range of activities and events that foster community engagement and attract visitors. Historic Downtown Kendallville – 5th Annual Fairy, Gnome, & Troll Festival Awarded $1,000. The beloved Fairy, Gnome, & Troll Festival will continue to enchant attendees, thanks to the grant that aids in creating a magical experience in Historic Downtown Kendallville. Kendallville Parks Department & Noble Young Professional Network – YPN Gives a Pop at Bixler Lake: A 4th of July Family Fun Event Awarded $1,000. This family-friendly 4th of July event will benefit from the grant, offering a day of festivities and activities at Bixler Lake to celebrate Independence Day. The Ligonier Marshmallow Festival, Inc. Awarded $1,000 The grant will support the annual Marshmallow Festival, a cherished event that brings joy and a sense of community to Ligonier and its thousands of visitors annually. NEIN Local Food Network – Local Food Week: Noble Farm Tours Awarded $1,000 Local Food Week will be enhanced by the grant, promoting local agriculture and providing tours that showcase the best of Noble County’s farming community. Stone’s Trace Pioneer Festival – September 2024 Awarded $1,000 The grant will aid in the continuation of the Stone’s Trace Pioneer Festival, a historic reenactment celebration that brings the pioneer, Revolutionary War, and Civil War era to life for visitors of all ages. Town of Albion & Albion Parks Dept – Martin House Bird Town Project Awarded $1,000 The Martin House Bird Town Project will use the grant to support its efforts in promoting birdwatching and environmental education in Albion, one of 3 Bird Towns in Noble County.
