As the leaves begin to change and temperatures start to drop, it’s time to enjoy all the fun fall activities in our region – from apple orchards and pumpkin patches to haunted houses and murder mysteries! Join us on Sept. 30th for “From the Dark Pages” Masquerade Ball & Murder Mystery Tour at the Seiberling Mansion. Take a trip back in time with Sir Arthur Conan Doyle and Sherlock Holmes hot on the trail of Jack the Ripper. This 21 & over event will include a mystery tour, masquerade ball, costume contest, food, entertainment and fun for all.
Find out if you have what it takes to survive the zombie apocalypse at the Zombie Dash 5K on Oct. 7 starting at dusk. Wind around and through the woods of the zombie-infested Jackson Morrow Park and keep the zombies from taking your health flags. Don’t like zombies? Check out the kid-friendly Fun Run.
If you love gaming and comics, don’t miss Kokomo-Con at the Kokomo Event & Conference Center on Oct. 14. Many come in cosplay and there’s a much-anticipated costume contest, dozens of vendors, and so much more! If you like haunted houses, check out Kokomo’s Edge of Insanity and Twisted Darkness Haunted Attraction – both filled with horrors untold and open starting the last weekend of September through October.
