Derek Jones is an American country-rock artist known for his principled character and deep-rooted respect for people and the nation. After serving in the United States Navy, Jones transitioned to a music career, drawing inspiration from classic rock bands like the Allman Brothers Band, Lynyrd Skynyrd, and Nirvana. His songwriting style is influenced by storytellers such as Johnny Cash, Jason Isbell and Jamey Johnson.

Jones made his Grand Ole Opry debut in 2017 and has performed on The Today Show, Good Morning Austailia and The Pickler And Ben show.

Jones has toured extensively, including four years alongside Billy Ray Cyrus, and has shared stages with artists like Charlie Daniels, Trace Adkins, Blackberry Smoke, Ted Nugent, and Whiskey Meyers just to name a few. His EP “Last of a Dying Breed” debuted at No. 3 on iTunes in 2021.
